RESPONSIBILITIES:
Turbo Systems is looking to fill an immediate role as a fulltime SQL and JavaScript Developer out of Washington DC. The new developer will play a key role in building and maintaining software solutions for the Debt Management Module of the Department of Justice.

List of daily tasks. Responsibilities:
• Research, troubleshoot, debug and support Web Portal products.
• Develop and maintain software products based upon technical specifications and/or verbal direction.
• Document changes, perform basic unit testing tasks, maintain versioning requirements and uphold all company development standards as related to the software development life cycle.
• Devise and create test data, test plans and benchmark measures of application performance.
• Assist Quality Assurance teams in debugging and testing developed software products.
• Perform peer reviews of software development efforts to ensure accuracy and maintainability.
• Assist peer and subordinate developers during task execution.
• Prepare and deliver periodic **** and/or written status, time allocation reports for management or supervisor.
• Communicate and interact with Quality Assurance, Business Analysis and Project Managers to ensure project success measured by timeliness and quality measures while adhering to the software development lifecycle process.
• Adhere to the highest degree of professionalism, professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must be a US citizen.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3-5 years’ experience and proven working knowledge of Java Script and JQuery technologies.
• 3-5 years' experience and proven working knowledge of SQL using relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Knowledge of Focus or Web Focus is a plus
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management best practices.
• Ability to execute technical requirements to ensure successful delivery of tasks.
• Team oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
• Excellent **** and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with related computer programming experience is preferred. Knowledge of general programming
