Position Description
Job Description: Responsible for designing, developing, testing and documenting Information Builders Inc. (IBI) queries, web services and reports via WebFocus. Must be skilled in the use of the IBI-WebFocus DevStudio/AppStudio, its utilities, application development and testing methodologies and is capable of interfacing with end-users to formulate, implement, test and document their requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will be required to interface with the data architects to define the necessary IBI-WebFocus DevStudio/AppStudio, queries and reports required to meet end-user needs.
• Should understand relational database technology (data modeling, performance considerations for large databases).
• Will be responsible for the definition, detailed design, coding, unit and system testing and documentation of new or enhanced IBI-WebFocus applications/ queries.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Undergraduate degree in computer-related field, with 3-6 years of computer-related experience in designing, developing, testing and documenting IBI-WebFocus queries, web services and reports.

The candidate should be an accomplished IBI-WebFocus application developer, with prior experience within the following technologies:
• IBI-WebFocus 8.0 and above, 8.008 and above preferred.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience with IBI-WebFocus a plus.
• Understanding of various RDBMS products, including Oracle & MS SQLServer.
• Understanding of Data Vault and Dimensional Data Modeling/Schemas.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of the software development life-cycle management in an Agile development environment.

Datawarehouse (DW) & Business Intelligence (BI) means specialization in the following Business Intelligence and Datawarehousing related products such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, Actuate, Business Objects, IBI-WebFocus, Informatica, OWB, ABInitio, Hyperion, etc. (5 years experience)
