I have over 25 years of IT experience, working for a wide variety of companies. In the last 12 years, I have developed business intelligence applications for several clients. I have participated in all aspects of project development, from proofs of concept and project proposals to business analysis, application development and testing, system documentation and user training. I have helped clients choose the appropriate tools and have participated in software installation and testing.

I have worked on IBM Mainframe, UNIX and Windows platforms with the latest WebFOCUS toolset, including BI Dashboard, Managed Reporting, Report Caster and Developer Studio. I have a thorough knowledge of HTML and JavaScript and familiarity with JSP. I have comprehensive experience working with DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and MS CRM 3 with some exposure to SAP and PeopleSoft.

I have a proven record of accomplishment including being the principal developer of two web-based intranet applications noted as client successes by Information Builders (please see http://www.ibi.com/applications/ggof.html and http://www.ibi.com/applications/nationallife.html).

I have worked as a full-time consultant for Information Builders for 6 years and have worked as a contractor for the last 4 years. I am looking for contract work in Toronto, but would also be happy for short stints in Paris, London, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver...
