Description: Design and implementation of a system incorporating multiple solver codes in a new solver sub-system. Duties include designing the interfaces for solver data exchange, designing the interfaces for the current solver’s capabilities, system integration of the solver sub-system, unit testing and integration of existing solvers.
Plan and lead technical software development activities, including requirements gathering, design, coding, task cards, maintenance, and unit testing.
Identify and implement effective processes and procedures for accomplishing work.
Encourage open expression of ideas and opinions; listen effectively.
Use informal networks to get things done; use other expert resources when appropriate.
Produce high quality products/components with agreed-to features on committed delivery dates. Ensure projects are completed on time and according to corporate quality standards.
Other job related duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:

5+ years programming experience in C++, C#, and the .NET framework
Experience with the following additional languages: Java, HTML, XML
BS in Engineering or Computer Science and at least 4-6 years related experience.
Strong software design skills required
Multi-thread code writing experience desirable
Engineering experience in finite element technologies and related fields desirable
Knowledgeable about current software development technologies and trends.
Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making skills.
Possesses skills to work well in an open, multi-discipline, intense team environment. Communicative and articulate in both verbal and written mediums
