if i want to check if a variable has these following values (eg. 'AAA', 'BBB', 'CCC'), what is the simplest way to write code, instead of "IF VAR EQ 'AAA' ..." ? i mean Webfocus code
Don't quite understand you question. What are you trying to do? Create a define, a compute or even another variable that gets a value depending on the content of the variable you want to check?
IF THEN ELSE logic is for me the most simple way to handle this in WF code. I don't think there is a simpler way to code this.
'IF' is FOCUS code, however, 'WHERE' is what the gui supplies now. Are you looking for fields which are three characters long to have those values, or are you looking for fields that are longer and contain the values? Also, how many values are you looking for?
