Does any one knows how to create flow for that moves flat file data (.txt) to sql server table? I am getting error when directly I m trying to create flow using Flat file local adaptor about " COBOL FD " ....and its warning that no metadata selected. Please provide COBOL FD "This message has been edited. Last edited by: Tamra,
If it is indeed a fixed file format then you do need to describe the file either from a COBOL FD or in the synonym editor.
However if there is a delimiter (such as a comma or tab character) between the values, you can use the Delimited Flat File adapter which can automatically generate a synonym.
