Where does the SMUSERID value originate from? I understand the description in the RA manual where it's the User Identifier of the effective Userid for the connection to the Reporting Server. However, we are getting values in both UPPER and lower case. In which situations would the Userid be forced to UPPER case? This message has been edited. Last edited by: wdusbank,

In a PDS and non-Unix servers the connection userid, GKE userid and MRE userid should be upper cased. On Unix servers the connection userid, GKE userid and MRE userid are saved as they are sent to the server. It is noticed that a %RCASTER USERID command will set the effective and userid in all releases based on the FILE case, which is a bug and a case and IRN should be opened so it can be fixed in both 77 and 76x.
To open a case, please either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Kerry
