Hi all, I've got an issue querying an Oracle table using a date parameter.
I am using an ODBC connection to the database (can't get Oracle adapter for 10g to work) so I don't think I can use the SQLORA commands, can I?
So what I am trying to do is to get the name portion of the month so I can query for a date such as '24-MAR-2007'. I have heard that this can be done using the HNAME function, but can;t seem to get this to work.
Any ideas or pointers?
Thanks
