I'd like to know how I can configure JDBC servers in order to have them appear in the drop down list "Defined JDBC" when adding an SQL component to an iWay Process.
Thanks!
WFS/FFS/DM 7.6.4 / WFS/FFS/DM 7.6.8 / WFS/FFS/DM 7.6.9 / AS400 V5R4M0 / HTML / iSM 5.5sp2
similarly in iWAY Service Manager 5.5 smsp2 when I wanted to add in an sql driver i had to google it to find the right drivers - download them into the lib folder and then it began appearing in my dropdown... Ira
Actually, I'm not having any problems registering JDBC drivers, I was just wondering how I can add JDBC Defined connections to make them appear in the drop down list of an SQL component in iWay Designer.

1. you need to define the data provide in the Web console. Main page, click Server on top left (blue section). Click Data provider under providers on left panel. Hit add and establish a new JDBC data provider.
2. In designer you need to create a new SQL object in a PFLOW, IT APPEARS TO ONLY WORK UNDER SERVER BASED. When you hit the drop down on the second screen while configuring the SQL object the list will include all the Data Providers configured.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Kerry

I just read your post and I figured out about the server based project thing. It's not the only thing that does not work in registry based. The global registers that are defined at server side (not registry side) are not resolved during test phase in designer if your project is registry based.
Thanks anyway for your post!
