OK, I'm going through my Course 971 book (Iway service manager essentials).
I've created my new project in Iway Designer. The next step is to create a new TRANSFORM. But, when I right-click on the transforms to add a new one, I only get the RELOAD option. I'm using Iway 5.6. Howcome I can't add a new Transform object? Oh, and we're using the Iway repository.
Hi Mike, Of course you'll remember from the training that there is a separate tool to make Transforms - iWay Transformer (I'm assuming you're not using iit as you mention iWay designer).
There are a number of ways you can start the transformer tool from Designer... * Add a new Transform object to your flow, and click the 'Launch Transformer' button. * Go to Tools -> Transformer in the menu items
Also: Click your Start button -> All Programs -> iWay 5.6 Service Manager -> tools -> iWay Transformer...
I was following the class training manual, and apparently it's different from what the book says. I've been able to create my process flow and test a few records successfully. Next step will be to set up the channel, etc.
