PMF 5.2: Changing Flex Look on Dashboards
A question came in from a PMF user:

quote:
In PMF, do we have any control over the graph colors in the flex gadgets?

Here's the answer:

Yes.

The overall look (e.g., text and menu colors, background color, etc) is controlled by the “skin,” or visual template, used in PMF (the PMF UI style) and the coloration of indicators is controlled by the PMF chart style setting. New chart styles can be added.

You can try this stuff out by making changes to the overall look and chart styles in Manage > PMF Settings > Look. For example, try using pmfuistyle04.css as your stylesheet, and changing the chart style to Tans & Browns. Exit and login to PMF again and see the result.

Should none of the defaults available appeal to your users, please refer to the PMF 5.2.2 Developer Guide which has info on how to augment/customize these skins and styles.

BTW: If you're looking for this book, you can contact your IB support rep. It's not currently available through documentation.ibi.com - but should be fairly soon.
