I am starting to train users on Analysis Designer's functionality and how to save their own reports. I am looking for naming convention tips. I understand it's not a good idea to hard code a date into the the title (i.e. July's Metric Report), since each time it's executed regardless of the time range it will say July.
However, with many users given the ability to save reports, I'm certain I will run into duplicate names attempted to be created. My assumption is that when a saved report title is moved into the Content sction of the Manage tab, it must be unique across the system.
I was thinking of requiring the users to name any saved reports beginning with their initials (i.e. JSP Metric Comparison East Division) to help prevent this occurrence. Any alternative methods would be a big help.
