During the install of PMF5.2 beta release on WF7610 and apache tomcat standalone. I am gettting the error 'Clear Cache Command Failed' . Whats is the cause of this error message ?This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Bert Utrecht>,
Hi Bert-- The installer writes the new Group Views for BID to disk and uses this command to force the running BID application to clear its Cache inside the Java App server that contains BID/portal configuration data, so that the new Group Views can be re-read from disk.
If you get this error, you must remember to restart your Web server/Java application before trying to log on to BID/portal, otherwise the cached data will be what you see, not the new Group Views.
The installer advises you to restart as a precaution anyway.
Hope this info helps and makes sense.
