Task associated with projects implies you're looking for a project management system, right?
Well, that's not the way people use PMF today. The projects associated with PMF are there to cover the linkage to project management systems, but are not intended to replace or to be a project management system in itself.
There are perfectly good project management systems out there and you can integrate any one of them with PMF. With a true project management system, you have tasks and timelines for each task and budgets and responsibilities for each person for each task. You have Gantt charts and Pert charts and all kinds of other nice things. These are good systems and integrate well with PMF, but PMF is not intending to engineer a replacement for them.
If we have this wrong, let us know.

I'll take any questions about PMF - business or technical - anytime!
You were asking about MS Project and about Feedback on Projects also; sorry we missed those.
MS Project: PMF integrates well with MS Project Server version since it has a reliable backend database (MS Access) which WebFOCUS can query and get data from. You can tie projects from MS Project Server to PMF using a small bit of code integration that maps the internal project code in PMF to the project info in MS Project Server. Or you can link via the project name. There isn't a project loader tool today but it's certainly not beyond a possible future scope, depending on customer interest. To date this has been an area of slight if any interest, but IB is a customer responsive company, so if you need more in this area, we're all ears.
Feedback on Projects: While you cannot enter Feedback on projects, you can enter Feedback on the metrics linked to the Objectives linked to the Projects. Overall this means there's a simple and consistent way to link it all together. if you look at the Related Properties report on any Objective/Measure, etc, you can see the ability to cross-drill from one to another, and thus to tie Operational Feedback on a Metric to projects related to a Metric's Objectives.
More specific Feedback on a Project implies more general Project Management. Though we'd consider doing something in this area, we're being very careful not to overlap with Project Management systems, with whom we rather partner.
thanks
