[solved] Dynamic formats?
Hi team,

I've got a custom gadget that uses the VAL_ACTUAL field. The problem is, it does not do any dynamic formatting, based on the measure selected.

I know you can do something like this in FOCUS:


I also know we can do something like this for custom gadgets:

What is the name of the field that contains the format? I think if I knew the name I would be able to stick it next to the VAL_ACTUAL field and my problem would be solved.

Hi Joey,

You are on the right track to accomplish what you need. The format field you are asking about is called MEASURE_FORMAT.

Simply do the following and you should be set.
