I want to display the running time in my operational report in my footer.

Which parameters do I need to set within the
-INCLUDE RUNNINGTIME01 fex?
&&RT_INIT ??
Im weary of changing a global variable.

What this be the sequence of events?
-SET &&RT_INIT='Y'
-INCLUDE RUNNINGTIME01
RUN MY FOCEXEC.
AT THE END OF MY FOCEXEC I CALL THE PROCEDURE AGAIN
-SET &&RT_INIT='N'
-INCLUDE RUNNINGTIME01

Any opinions on the best way to incorporate within a Operational Report??

You should not have to do anything at all. runningtime01.fex is self starting and should not require you to set any variables ahead of time.

There have been some isolated cases in earlier releases of PMF where setting IBIF_persistentamp to Yes in the WebFOCUS Administration Console caused issues. These problems were eliminated starting with PMF 5.1. If you are running an earlier release of PMF and are having issues with global && variables, go to the WebFOCUS Administration Console, Configuration, General, and set IBIF_persistentamp to No


Incidentally, I would recommend that instead of doing a

-INCLUDE RUNNINGTIME01

at the beginning of the report, you do a

-INCLUDE FOCEXEC_INFO

This gives you some additional debugging information.
