Hi, If a Period is defined as month and I enter data at the current quarter level for measure 'a' and current month level for measure 'b', then request Current Period, should I see the current value for a and b or will measure 'a' be 0 because there is nothing for the current month/current period?
Thanks.

A Time Period is a chunk of time at any level. If you're looking at Month level the chunk is Month.
A Time Range is a group of contiguous chunks.
If you're asking, if data is loaded at Quarter level, can you see it at Month level? The answer is how your Summarization setting "multi-level Time display" is set. If it's set to the default of N, the answer is NO. If it's Y, you see data that's atomic at higher levels brought down to the lower levels even though it's not linked there.
thanks
