I've tried starting PMF before Dev Studio and not running PMF at all but niether works. I've deleted all cookies, history and temp files with no luck.

Does anyone know how to get around this?

Thanks.

Greg,
Nobody's ever heard of this one that I know of and you're not providing enough context for us to figure out a quick answer.

Where is the report located - in your MR environment or in a server app?

If MR environment, was it placed inside the PMF domain (which it should be)?

Are you logging in to an ID that's mapped to the PMF domain?

What type of report is it - a PMF report, or an ad hoc report?

Yea, I was afraid of that.
I get this when running in a server app.
This is an operational report using some data from PMF (pass1).
Sometimes I can log in to PMF first and this clears up the problem, otherwise I have to create a new piece of content and run from PMF to test my code.
I've also seen this error when doing a TABLE FILE CAR after logging into PMF.

Thanks for getting back to me.
IHTH.

Yes... If the data is from PMF you need to be logged in to PMF, since PMF is secure, you will get errors if you are not logged in with an ID that PMF recognizes. The error messages can be confusing because we don't know where we're being called from in custom apps or reports...

Ok. So, if i logged into MRE before going to a self-serve report, would that work?

Thanks.

you can configure devstudio to log in for you. just make sure you're logging on with the PMF id in the DevStudio MR, and click on the domain, before running your tests.
