We have built a very nice dashboard using the gadgets that come with pmf 4.2. We have a user that is only allowed to see their data based on a dimension value.
Are the gadgets supposed to respect this security? We've seen different results. Some of the gadgets look like they are respecting it when they first appear, but when you drill in (for example a grid report) we are seeing all the data.
TIA

Gadgets automatically respect the security model when displaying data. So for Measures that have "Row Security" checked, users will only see Metrics aggregated at the level they've been configured for in their Access Role.
And, there is an option in the Gadget settings to have the Gadget automatically drill to the level specified for the user and using the default dimension/level global setting for PMF.
Select "default dimension" in the instance designer for the Gadget instance used on the dashboard in question to specify this.
