Hi,

IS there a way such that one user cannot see the feedback of another user when we provide feedback on measures and objectives. Where do we provide such security ?

Thanks
Abhinav

The general idea and design behind Feedback is that it is a matter of public record, and is recorded and kept for documentation and record keeping purposes, linked to the metric and its Dimensional points. It's not intended to be a replacement for private modes of communication such as email. If you truly want private channels of communication between users, you typically would not want to try to do that via Feedback.

Thus, there is Feedback security and it is based on Measure data Access in PMF. Since Feedback is generally entered in via the views in PMF, which are generally showing the metrics dimensionally sorted, aggregated, and broken out, this is consistent and useful.

When feedback is input for a Measure at a particular Dimension, you can block any users with no access to that Dimension intersection from seeing the feedback by turning on PMF Row Level Security. If the user in question doesn't have access to that Dimensional intersection, they can't see the Feedback either.

For more info about the security features in PMF please see the PMF documentation, especially pages 245-262.

thanks
