I have a dashboard with a bunch of gadgets. I have been getting reports from users that they are unable to change the preferences. When I investigated, it seems that Consumers can go into the preferences for each gadget but the Save button is greyed out / not clickable.
Has this changed between 5.1.3 and 5.2.1? Is there a functional role setting that controls this behaviour?
Please advise.
Cheers,

If not that means the Dashboard security object for their functional role has been set to "no access," and they can't save settings OR change what dashboard they are looking at. Please change the functional role as regards Dashboard security to at least "Viewer" and they'll be able to save their preferences.
In 5.2.1 and 5.2.2 where we introduced a wider scope of dashboard features, we also more strictly enforce a tighter dashboard security model; previously (5.1) we did not enforce it as much.

I'll take any questions about PMF - business or technical - anytime!
This turned out to be an issue with the PMF javascript library file. Contact the PMF group for a fix or upgrade higher than 5.2.1, where this has been corrected.
