I am looking for a time range that shows current YTD vs. prior YTD. I can't find one in the provided ranges that behaves like what I'm needing. Any guidance on how to set the drop down boxes and fields in the New Time Range form would be greatly appreciated. I've done simple new time ranges such as "last 14 months", but nothing this elaboarate.
When I select Time Range YTD - Prior, I can get 2014 from January through current date. When I select Prior Year vs. Current, I get all of 2014 vs. 2015 YTD. Not really apples to apples. I'm looking for a hybrid of those two, so that I can see 2015 YTD vs. 2014 YTD.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Current vs. prior YTD would require a 2-pass operation because WebFOCUS would have to run the first YTD, then the second, and merge them with Universal Concatenation. So the only way to do this currently is to create manual PMF content.
Reason for this is the way it deals with time - contiguously.
We are considering a new feature to support something like this; right now you have to code it.

Thanks Bob. I guess another alternative would be to put the same gadget on the today page twice, side by side, and set the preferences to have one look at each of the time ranges.
And there are gadgets that are purpose built to do YTD year over year comparisons; these can be cloned to create new ones that use different charts, etc.
Take a look at the HTML Metric Actual Target YTD & Prior Bars gadget for ideas (/approot/pmfgadgets/gadget_rpt_meas_bkout_graph01.fex which points to /approot/mainstreet/meas_bkout_gph01.fex)
Hope this helped.
