Is there a way in PMF to assign different data granularities (i.e. month, quarter) to two separate Scorecards within the dashboard. It appears that this is currently restricted to one by the PMF Settings field. It would be great to give our users both a month-by-month and quarterly comparison of the same metrics by switching the scorecard. Please let me know if anyone has some thoughts on this one.
My first thought would be to have two separate metrics but loaded from the same source aka two versions of the same metrics in each of the two scorecards. One metric would have metadata defined with Date/Time dimension lowest level of Month, the other metric's metadata would be defined with Date/Time entry point of qtr. There could be a better solution, let see if someone has a better one. Regards, Endre
You've posed an interesting question. Currently, there is no simple method to quickly switch from monthly to quarterly comparison like you're asking. I can think of two compromises that will get you close to what you want.
1 - You can create a Dashboard which has the same reports twice, once using a monthly basis and once using a quaretly basis. The Dashboard designer allows you to place reports anywhere you want on the page, so you could put the two reports side by side or stacked vertically.
2 - You can create two dashboards which have the same reports, only 'My Dashboard - M' uses monthly basis and 'My Dashboard - Q' uses quarterly basis. Then you switch Dashboards.
