This is from the installation guide and is an important note... I believe this is what BabakNYC was referring to in another post
Important: Release 8205 is a new feature release that supports new application development and also includes incremental maintenance. Upgrade of existing applications from Release 8.2.x, 8.1.x, or an earlier 8.0.x or 7.7.x release is not supported for Release 8205. This will be supported in a future release.

UPDATE: Our PM says it's a no go... Guess we'll update to 8205+ later this year or next when they support upgrades. RIP.... By then, we may be well under way with our move to Power BI anyways...

Interesting, I just upgraded 8.2.04 to 8.2.05 on our sandbox.
