Anybody know where we have the setting "IBI_User_Name_Case setting" in webfocus 8204 version.
It used to be under Configuration - Application Settings - Account Policies on 8010 version but can't find it in 8204.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kartik Katyal,
I'm not positive and you may want to confirm this with IB Tech support. However, I believe the GUI setting for IBI_User_Name_Case in 8105 was removed (hidden) from the WF Administration Console in WF 82xx. Problem had to do with users ability to sign in as John and john and those would be two different users.
You can still control this option by adding the following line to the file ibi\WebFOCUS82\config\webfocus.cfg
IBI_USER_NAME_CASE=LOWER (or UPPER or MIXED)
It is suggested to have it set to lower after you clear WF cache.
