I have a report for which user inputs data through HTML page. This HTML file is generated through HTML layout Tool. On HTML page I am showing input comboboxes and its values are generating through '.mas' file.
here W_ID is INTEGER and W_NAME is Character value of it. I am displaying W_NAME and on selection W_ID value is passed to fex file.
My question is that combobox is dispalying data order by W_ID, while I want it to sort by W_NAME. Is there any way to do this, or which property to edit for this master file? I am viewing mater file through web Console. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Abhi,

I believe as long as you are generating values from the file definition you get the order they are in. You might try using a procedure to populate the combo box which has it sorted in the order you want.

Leah has given you the best method of achieving this - use a procedure to populate the drop down and do not rely upon the data in the file being in the right sort order for you.
