What's the error? Just nothing coming up? Blank report? If it is, look "view source" if there actually is stuff there but you can't see it...

What version are you on? Can you run a Fiddler?

I ran into "weird stuff" with some version of 8 generating combinations in the headers the siteminder banned as hacking, double slashes was one, so I got the report data, but couldn't see it as the html broke.

I have the excelservurl blanked out in wfac, per instruction from tech support. that works.
that allows https to return an excel sheet.
but in caster, the job fails.
in the rc console we changed the excelservlet url to https, also per instruction from tech support.
