Are you sure its the FILEDEF? What are your symptoms? I get the procedure to work ok, but I had to add the IBIAPP_app variable to the HTML for it to be able to find the 2nd iteration of the focexec.

Do you have Dev Studio ? I've not done this option but I've heard it discussed. In Dev Studio you can use the "Chaining" option. Search for Filtering Dynamic Parameter Values in Dev Studio Help. Sorry I don't know how to post an actual link to the information.

Hi, For information on chaining, see the Filtering Dynamic Parameter Values section in the chapter, Designing a User Interface for a Web Application With the Resource Layout Painter, in the WebFOCUS Developing Reporting Applications manual.
