Hi,

How do I create dynamic drop down box based on the value of one more dynamic drop down box with out using FILEDEF's as shown in the article

For some reason, FILEDEF does not work in my environment. Does it have to do with settings on the server? I am using webfocus MRE 5.2.4

Are you sure its the FILEDEF? What are your symptoms? I get the procedure to work ok, but I had to add the IBIAPP_app variable to the HTML for it to be able to find the 2nd iteration of the focexec.

Do you have Dev Studio ? I've not done this option but I've heard it discussed. In Dev Studio you can use the "Chaining" option. Search for Filtering Dynamic Parameter Values in Dev Studio Help. Sorry I don't know how to post an actual link to the information.
