Has anyone tried executing procedures that call DSTRUN on 7.7.03 to execute a ReportCaster schedule? I know the syntax has changed since there isn't a context for rcaster anymore but I've tried multiple ways per the WebFOCUS Upgrade Considerations documentation and SPS 62872527.html but get error 11, Servlet Execution Error. This works fine in 7.6.7. This is on Windows and it is configured with the IIS/Tomcat option. The various syntax I've tried for the host parameter are:
- 'WEBFOCUST:ibi_apps',18,
- 'WEBFOCUST:80:ibi_apps',21,
- 'WEBFOCUST:8080:ibi_apps',23,
- 'WEBFOCUST/ibi_apps',18,
- 'WEBFOCUST:80/ibi_apps',21,
- 'WEBFOCUST:8080/ibi_apps',23,
- 'WEBFOCUST/ibi_apps:ibi_apps',27,
- 'WEBFOCUST:80/ibi_apps:ibi_apps',30,
- 'WEBFOCUST:8080/ibi_apps:ibi_apps',32,
I'll open a case unless anyone has found a solution.

Keep us posted. I'm upgrading to 7.7.03 and have not tested DSTRUN yet.

The manual documents different methods of syntax for the host but the only one I found that will work is in the format:

- 'wfserverhost:8080/ibi_apps:ibi_apps',32,


The ending :ibi_apps should not be necessary according to the manual if using the default context root. However, if I did not include it I would get the error 11, server execution error.

Hey Bobsh,
For Reporting Server host name, i am getting Errorcode 36 which is 'Host length is incorrect', i am confused whether i need to count port number length in the host_port_length.

Suppose my Reporting Server host name pattern is something like this:

xxxx-aa.bb.yy:8785/ibi_apps:ibi_apps,36,

So m i going rite, as i am getting errorcode 36..
