anybody know if there's an escape character for inline documentation, or inline comments? Something like this, perhaps: TABLE FILE CAR \ this is the car file

The WebFOCUS Scripting language (Dialog Manager) can be used to document procedures. However, you currently cannot embed WebFOCUS scripting language in between certain steps of a procedure such as a TABLE step and still bring the TABLE step back up in the report painter. I usually document a procedure at the top of the procedure using this scripting language. A comment begins with a -* be sure it begins in column 1.
