I'm on a site where we have connectivity problems on Windows 7 systems since update KB3172605 was pushed out. We figured that out and were able to uninstall that particular update on the machines, and we are back in. This is for connection to a WF 7.7.03 install, via IE and via Dev Studio of the same version.
We have a Windows 10 machine that is exhibiting the exact same problem -- cannot connect to the IIS front end of the client for IE and Dev Studio cannot connect to the servers.
Here's the question -- has anyone experienced this problem in Windows 10? We've done all the usual things, and I suspect Windows 10 has the same flaw pushed out to it that Windows 7 did, but under a different update number. Once we uninstalled KB3172605 on 7 everything immediately returned to full functionality. I'd like to see if the same culprit is sticking us on Windows 10.This message has been edited. Update -- Word on the street is that Windows 10 still has TLS issues, so turning off TLS connectivity and turning on SSL connectivity is the favored approach. We turned off just TLS 1.0 and are working now, so that may be worth a first try.
It appears this issue is closed.
