[CASE]Multiple Compound graph & reports not working for PDF in 7.6.8 in reportcaster.
Have a couple of questions. Where can I find the PDF Layout Painter? What should I be looking for to change in order to test the changes in reportcaster? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

The documentation is in the "Creating Reports with Graphical Tools" manual. To access the painter, create a 'new' focexec and choose PDF Layout Painter from the dropdown.
As for the 3rd question, you will need to explain 'not working' in a bit more detail. Does it run from Developer Studio?
BTW, in 7.6.8, its name has been changed to Document Composer which is why you may be having a hard time finding it. The name change was in 7.6.7.
I have a ticket with IBI. It;s been out there for about a month or so. I'm also been comunicating with Kerry. I'll update once a solution is found. Thanks

Hi,
We also opened a case on this. In ours the report worked fine in caster with 7.6.4 but then would not run in 7.6.8 It was determined that it was an upward compatability issue and a hot fix is being supplied.
We have not installed the hot fix yet but assuming yours is same/similar issue you may want to ask.

Did IBI Support indicate in which release the permanent fix would be? We are getting ready to put 7.6.10 on and have a number of compound reports in production.
Ginny, How are you now running multiple compound reports in production. If you are going through Reportcaster could you send me some documentation on this.

The compounds either run from a browser or from RC. As for documentation, you can check out "Creating Reports with Graphical Tools" and the RC manual. What I recommend that you do is create a simple compound using one of the sample files that IBI provides, like CAR, then schedule it through Report Caster.
However, if you had one already running in 7.6.4 and it is not running in 7.6.8, then you have an upgrade issue. What I wanted to find out from you is that when you get your hotfix, the email will probably include which release the permanent fix will be in and if you would post that.
Also, if they tell you what in the compound report caused the problem, that would be useful information as well.
This was a particular case of a coumpound with a certain graph. The fix is not in the 7610 server but it is already included in the early cuts of the 7611 server builds. Contact CSS if you need it.
