I am doing a Table File request in WF 761 that joins two Oracle views. I want to include only records that have bill ids that match the values of the bill ids that are in a text file. The text file has only 220 bills and the longest length of the bill ids is about 13 alphanumeric characters. The bill ids can vary in length. Pasted below is the syntax that I am using in my Table File Request, in addition to the filedef that I am using. Thanks.

FILEDEF IDFILE DISK /home/wfadmin/ibi/apps/dev_mnb_rpts/idfile.txt

WHERE ID_NUMBER IN FILE(idfile)

I am getting the error message (FOC258) FIELDNAME OR COMPUTATIONAL ELEMENT NOT RECOGNIZED: idfile

To my knowledge WF is case sensitive. idfile is different from IDFILE. Also the syntax for IN FILE. Try with below syntax.

WHERE PRODUCT_ID IN FILE EXPER

Thanks,

You may be thinking of IF in file syntax, that uses ().
