Can someone tell me how to make the subheading and subtotal begin with the same alignment on the left hand side? If you run this TABLE CAR code, the country subhead is a little further to the right than the country subtotal. What styling will make these align the same?
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
DEALER_COST
RETAIL_COST
BY COUNTRY NOPRINT
ON COUNTRY SUBHEAD
" <COUNTRY"
ON COUNTRY SUBTOTAL AS 'TOTAL'
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
END
Thanks for your help! Bethany WF 7.1.3

Removing the first blank space of COUNTRY subhead, the example worked fine for me (perfect alignment on the left hand side) (tested WF7.1.0)
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
DEALER_COST
RETAIL_COST
BY COUNTRY NOPRINT
ON COUNTRY SUBHEAD
"<COUNTRY"
ON COUNTRY SUBTOTAL AS 'TOTAL'
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
END
I think I have figured out my problem. In the example I gave, I need to remove the space in the subhead
" <COUNTRY " to "<COUNTRY ".
The problem I am having with my real tables is that I'm using a field that's a P7 in the place where I have country in the TABLE CAR example and there are some leading spaces so it doesn't put the number all the way to the left. Looks like I'll have to due a trim function to fix it.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Bethany,
