[CLOSED] formatting a BY field

Anybody know how to format on a BY field?

I tried this:

BY FIELD1/P12.2MB

It didn't like that. Thanks!

Can't format a BY field. PRINT or SUM the field with the required format, then sort it with a NOPRINT.

TABLE FILE <fn> 
 PRINT FIELD1/P12.2MB
       FIELD2
       FIELD3
       etc.
 BY FIELD1 NOPRINT
END

No. Or COMPUTE it and do a BY TOTAL on the computed field.
