We are currently receiving the error "INVALID DISTRIBUTION FORMAT FOR COMPOUND REPORT" when trying to distrubute a report with COMT format. At what version is this format supported thru ReportCaster? We are currently at 7.6.4.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

As the documentation states COMT is available in 7.6.2 and higher. From the error message it sounds like the problem is that you have a Compound Report. Compound Reports are not available in all formats. The old manually coded compound reports syntax only supports PDF. Compound reports created with the PDF Layout Tool in Developer Studio use the new syntax. The tool allows the output to be formatted in DHTML, AHTML, PDF, PPT and EXL2K. These are the only formats that these reports can be distributed in using ReportCaster.

ira many features in WebFocus may work in releases earlier than the date they are officially supported.
There are called CFR's (candidates for release)
They will get assistance from support but at the end of the day it's pot luck.
An item that is CFR may work in a different way once fully released as IBI development may have been alerted to issues with the original implementation.
