[CLOSED] Ques: Does anyone have sample code with PDF & TOC?
Hello,
I have a request from a developer who needs some sample code where the format output is PDF (compound document), with TOC (table of contents). Is anyone willing to share their code? It doesn't matter the MFD, if I remember correctly, there are some commands with OPEN & CLOSE and BY-FIELDS that control how and populates the content for the TOC.

Thanks,
Rhonda

If you ever get some sample code, I'd sure like to see it as well.

Hello,

This is a friendly follow-up to both questions regarding examples of code for compound PDF.

The following link is from the Knowledge Base on the IBI Technical Support site .

Creating a Compound Report

The basic compound report logic can be found in the link above at - Example: Creating a Compound PDF Report

Table of Contents link:

I hope this helps. Once you have the basic idea there are lots of topics within Focal Point and on the IBI Knowledge Base for additional help and examples.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Thanks Tamra! Half the battle is knowing where the documentation resides.
