Hi, Here is simple report. I am trying to generate luanch page equipped with output options - HTML, PDF, EXCEL 2000, EXCEL FORMULA. It gives error message (FOC295) A VALUE IS MISSING FOR: &WFFMT
Below is the code TABLE FILE CAR PRINT DEALER_COST RETAIL_COST CAR BODYTYPE FOOTING "Page Footer" ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT &WFFMT.(,,,).Select type of display output. ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE * UNITS=IN, SQUEEZE=ON, ORIENTATION=PORTRAIT, $ TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, FONT='TIMES NEW ROMAN', SIZE=10, COLOR='BLACK', BACKCOLOR='NONE', STYLE=NORMAL, $ ENDSTYLE END
Bik is partly right. You would in this case also ned to activate the parameter prompting in the WebFOCUS admin console. If this would have been activated you would not have gotten the error in the first place. Another option is to do a -DEFAULT &WFFMT = 'HTML' before the TABLE request or to do a ON TABLe PCHOLD FORMAT HTML iso &WFFMT.

Maybe it would help if you give the complete code of your request, together with the exact parsing error that you get. From the look of it, everything seems to be ok, and this parsing error may be related to something else entirely.

You might also want to check the properties of the FEX itself to see if "Prompt for Parameters" is checked.
