I am relatively new to webFOCUS, Developer Studio, and especially these forums. I am not the administrator but rather an hourly report developer that has been loaded with the task of researching administrative responsibilities. I do not have permissions for these tools, so while the documentation is helpful, it is not enough to explain some of the problems to my supervisors.
So now that you know where I am coming from, we have a problem in our pre-production("testing") environment in developer studio. In the data servers and edaserve section, if I create a file, it stores that file in our production server (I check this by connecting to it and doing a search in the explorer). The managed reporting and web application areas are fine which means it isn't our servers problem, it is some setting for developer studio. I haven't been able to find anything on this although I am still learning the terms and such. If anybody has any ideas that would be great or if they could at least point me to the correct documentation that would be wonderful. Like I said, I have limited access to the administrative tools so an explanation and a pointer to the documentation would be great.
-EDIT the title description may not be completely accurate. It is only when we create new files in Dev Studio that this happens. This message has been edited. Last edited by: J,
