One on my customers wants to use the SYSCOLUM master to extract data from the MASTER of a SSAS cube, specifically FIELDNAME, ALIAS, TITLE and WITHIN. The first 3 are accessible, the last is not. I tried DIMEN_NAME to no avail. Any ideas? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Danny-SRL,

Using TABLE FILE SYSCOLUM on the SHORT master shows via DIMEN_NAME the fields with WITHIN values starting with * and the fields linked. For example fields CONTINENT, REGION and COUNTRY all have DIMEN_NAME = Geographic Area. However, sadly, this is not the case for a CUBE master: DIMEN_NAME is blank.
