Hai all..

I have a numeric field which has both positive and negative vales. I want to display negative values in brackets. Ex: -2 as (2). I am able to convert it to alphanumeric and then concatenate it with brackets. But if I do that I will not be able to make calculations on that field. Is there any way to work it out in both ways?

How is your numeric field described?

You can use the edit character B to display negative numbers within parenteses or brackets.

EG MY_NUMBER/D12.2B
