Susannah, I am sorry, I dint mean the auto complete feature to fill web forms and addresses. I actually want something like google suggest to give real-time data from my tables. for eg: in my input box when I start typing J it should dynamically show countries that start with J (my fex will probly return an answerset in XML WHERE COUNTRY LIKE 'J$*' I think that URL I sent has the example. Hope I made it little more clear this time. Thank you Any help wud be greatly appreciated.
One of internal people reviewed this topic and here is his input:
This is not feature in WebFOCUS and is only a feature using HTML and AJAX as the link provided suggests. This would be a new feature request and should be submitted to Online InfoResponse. Otherwise, the customer will need to use Professional Services or try implementing what is suggested in the provided link on their own as this is an advanced feature of DHTML, JavaScript and AJAX.
To submit a New Feature Request (NFR), you will need to contact Information Builders' Customer Support Services and open a new case. You may either call 1-800-736-6130, or access the online system InfoResponse at any time. Here is a list of information to be ready when you call: http://techsupport.ibi.com/before_you_call.jsp.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Kerry
