Does your site use a job scheduler, e.g., Control-M?
If so, place your z/OS job on the schedule, setup a trigger for it, and then execute the trigger from your WebFOCUS app.
Otherwise I *think* the DYNAM SUBMIT command would only work in WebFOCUS, if you are running on a z/OS reporting server.

DYNAM SUBMIT should work for WebFOCUS, and from memory worked for FOCUS.
