I'm trying to call the Report Assistant and/or Graph Assistant from a URL. I can create the URL dynamically on either the server or client side, if necessary. I'd like to be able to pass in which reporting object to use when opening the UI.

i am pretty sure i've seen this done before, but i coudn't find anything about it in webfocus documentation or on the forums.

I'm using version 7.1.1 of WebFOCUS, but am in the process of transitioning from 5.3.4, and i'm still more familiar with the old version.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

MRE or BID doesnt really matter ,for me that is .

If i can make it work in MRE fine , if it would work in BID even better
