I'm testing the Excel Pivot table format in InfoAssist, and this format doesn't seem to work with DEFINE and COMPUTE fields. Even after removing my DEFINES and COMPUTE fields, I still got the (FOC3266) EXL2K PIVOT TABLE: NO COMPUTES ALLOWED. Turned out that I had to also remove the "Row Totals" off my report. The error message is a bit misleading. I've looked thru the documentation, and also checked the Webfocus message board, but only found references to COMPUTE fields.
This is the error I get when using DEFINE fields:
An error occurred during the parsing or running of the request. (FOC3254) EXL2K PIVOT TABLE: NOPRINT CLAUSE INVALID - USE CACHEFIELDS (FOC009) INCOMPLETE REQUEST STATEMENT BYPASSING TO END OF COMMAND
Has anyone seeing this behavior before? Thanks
Luiz
UPDATE: I've run a few more tests using the CAR database, and could not duplicate the error above. I then created a new report using my data source, and was able to run the report (format EXL2k Pivot). The errors I'm getting now happens during download, and seem to be excel errors such as: a) Problems during load: problems came up in the following areas during load (PivotTable) b) This PivotTable report is invalid. Try refreshing the data. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Luiz De Assis,
