I have a application in which i use a multi-edit field (mx 4000 char.)
I want to use this field in a report in pdf i've placed the field in a subhead , but the report only displays one 1ine , the field just is truncated .
what i'm looking for is that the field is printed as entered (with CR)
is this possible?

Pete I'm afraid I don't have an answer for this one. There ARE CRs and EOLs included in the database. You can see this just by reloading the entered data back onto the Maintain form. Table does not respect them.
I KNOW you can do this kind of thing with TEXT (TX) fields, but Maintain cannot work with them. Sorry

Still i find it a bit weird if you think of it , we are able to type in text in a multi edit field , but yet we can't put it in a report properly.
grrrr...
