[CLOSED] Across title vertical line between the 'name' in XLSX format
Hello,
I would like add vertical line between the across title. The below code works for HTML format not working for XLSX format. I appreciate any one have different thoughts....

SET ACROSSTITLE = SIDE

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RETAIL_COST
BY COUNTRY AS ''
ACROSS BODYTYPE AS '           COUNTRY        TEST' AND COMPUTE NEW= C1 + C3 ;
-*ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT XLSX
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT,
     IMAGE=IBFS:/WFC/Repository/Verticalline.png,
	 POSITION=(0.97 0.50),
$
END
-EXIT

Did you try to use a border instead of an image?

Test: WF 8.2
Prod: WF 8.2
DB: Progress, REST, IBM UniVerse/UniData, SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Greenplum, Athena.

Frans,
I tried the below code. it did not work either... for the xlsx format.
TYPE=ACROSSTITLE,
FONT='CALIBRI',
STYLE=BOLD,
SIZE=11,
BORDER-TOP=LIGHT,
BORDER-BOTTOM=LIGHT,
BORDER-LEFT=LIGHT,
BORDER-RIGHT=LIGHT,
JUSTIFY=LEFT,

Borders for XLSX does not work in some versions of WebFOCUS. Take a look at WebFOCUS XLSX/EXL07 Format Supported Features Release Roadmap (You'll have to log in to Tech Support).

Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991

Rather than ACROSSTITLE, try ACROSSVALUE like this:

SET ACROSSTITLE = SIDE
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RETAIL_COST
BY COUNTRY AS ''
ACROSS BODYTYPE AS ' COUNTRY TEST' AND COMPUTE NEW= C1 + C3 ;
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT XLSX
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=ACROSSVALUE, BORDER-LEFT=ON, BORDER-RIGHT=ON, $
END

This worked for me in 8.1.05 and 8.2.01 with MS-Office 2016.

Thank you guys for your replies,The reason is I am trying add vertical line between the across title. so it will so as border for the column.Please see the line added before the TEST. it is showing as border. When I print in XLSX.it show little gap at the top.

ACROSS BODYTYPE AS ' COUNTRY |TEST' AND COMPUTE NEW= C1 + C3 ;
