Hi everyone,

I am using IE 6.0.28 with WF version 7.6.6. I can obtain an active report (HTML) as needed. However I am having issues saving it. When saving it appears to just be saving the link (file size is only 1 KB) instead of the entire report with data. When I open the AHTML file it says page cannot be displayed. I have tried saving in many formats with no luck. I think the issue is in the saving part rather than the opening part. Thanks for any help!

I am using IE v7.x so I'm not certain if this applies to you or not. When I save an AHTML report I use the browsers File/Save As function and I select the Webpage Complete file type.

What method are you using to save the file?

Hi Dan,

I am using the same method. What encoding are you using?
I think my issue may have to do with an IE setting but not sure.
Thanks!

Hi

An alternative is just to save the active report using its built in save feature from any of its drop down menus.

Issue has been solved. The only problem is that I had the message viewer on. It will not save the HTML file correct if you have it on. Resolution is to turn message viewer off and problem is solved. Thanks!

How did you solve this problem? What is the message viewer?

In developer studio it is a pull down on the RUN button. To verify...when you run a .fex there should only be one window on the final output screen. If there is a split window on the bottom (with line outputs information on the bottom window and your actual output in the top window) then the message viewer is on and you should turn it off.
Hope that helps!
