If I have 2 different fexes, that create several temporary HOLD files in the same name, and I run the fexes simultaneously, are the 2 sets of HOLD files going to interfere? Are they going to be created in their own session and hence my results wouldn't vary? Can somebody please confirm? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Unless you're using FILEDEF or APP commands to have the HOLD files allocated to the same physical location it shouldn't matter that the files have the same names. After every execution of a fex, the HOLD files are deleted, unless you're using SET TEMPERASE=OFF to NOT have the files deleted.

Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991
Production: WF 7.7.05M, Dev Studio, BID, MRE, WebSphere, DB2 / Test: WF 8.1.05M, App Studio, BI Portal, Report Caster, jQuery, HighCharts, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL Server
Each simultaneously run fex runs with its own agent and work area, on the server in directories in C:\ibi\srv76\wfs\edatemp\ts000001, ts000002, ts000003, etc.
