Hi

I have a problem with report caster, I have a report which is made of 20 small procedure which populate an excel template with many tabs

the first report open a template, insert the data and generate a new template, then execute the second report which does the same then execute the third and it keep going like that up to the 20th which output the final excel workbook.

Report caster runs only the first.

Is there a way to make it run the 20 procedures as these need to run before 5 am

The output of any one task in a schedule job in ReportCaster can only be a single output file. You can add multiple tasks to a single schedule to create multiple output files for distribution, but that doesn't sound like what you need.

This has always been a restriction of RC. Any attempt to generate multiple output files (other than by bursting) from a single task results in only the first output file being available.

It doesn't sound like he wants 20 different output files, but a single one, where each of his requests works on a different sheet of the template file. We do that in our shop with no issue. The keys are 1) Each file but the last must be a hold file. 2) The output format from rc must be EXCEL template, all the other excel formats will give you problems.
